Current Roles:

Chief Technology Officer / Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a technical, business savvy, and highly driven technology leader to join our team and build a next generation learning platform from the ground up. This person will work directly with the founder + CEO to develop an MVP product roadmap and guide the strategic direction of the company from a technical perspective. This person will be responsible for making sure that the organization’s technology fully serves its business strategy. The role includes selecting a technology stack, designing the application architecture, setting up a scalable cloud-based infrastructure (as well as choosing the cloud services provider), building a technology team, developing an MVP product, and testing the application.

The ideal candidate has experience with data analytics, artificial intelligence, and education / learning platforms. While experience in all of these areas is not a requirement, having a desire to learn these areas is a must. In addition, experience with building technology stacks for a seed stage company is a huge plus. The ideal candidate also has strong interpersonal skills in communicating with business owners, product managers, and strategic investors.

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is very organized, and has a proven track record for building strong cultures for mission driven companies. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) role will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. This position will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the company’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

The HRBP will work directly with the founder + CEO and other management to refine and expand our resource hiring plan. The role will be responsible for reviewing and developing contracts for new hires, implementing a day-to-day performance management structure, developing a human-centric culture, providing coaching and career development guidance to employees, maintaining relationships with health care and other employee wellness providers, and promoting healthy habits and sustainable practices within the organization.

The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. The HRBP will work with the legal department as needed/required. The candidate should have experience working in an early stage startup environment and a proven track record for excellence in human resources while scaling a company.
